The strong message of hope was evident individually through the actors’ performances and collectively as this remarkable group of teenagers took on a controversial subject.
Nick Bucci’s stellar performance as the father of Matthew Shepard was the highlight of a thoroughly powerful and thought-provoking evening. Cast members acquitted themselves in outstanding portrayals for the full three acts.
The superintendent, the School Committee and high school staff are to be congratulated for supporting and encouraging this exploration of a sensitive topic.
