VASSALBORO — Senior Archaeologist Dr. Arthur Spiess with the Maine Historic Preservation Commission will speak at the Vassalboro Historical Society meeting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the 327 Main St. museum.

Spiess will present a lecture on Native American life and prehistoric archaeology on the Kennebec River along with other related topics. A short business meeting will proceed the presentation and refreshments will follow.
