Police arrest three on bath salts charges

WATERVILLE — Police arrested three men from the Mid-coast area early Saturday on charges of trafficking in a synthetic hallucinogenic drug, commonly known as bath salts. Police Sgt. Alan Main said the men were in possession of 31⁄2 ounces of the drug during a motor vehicle stop on Main Street at 2:06 a.m. Saturday by Sgt. Daniel Ames and Officer Tristan Russell.

Arrested were Paul A. Mahonen Jr., 34, of South Thomaston; Travis L. Griffin, 26, of Warren; andMerideth K. Finley, 28, of Rockland. They were taken to the Kennebec County jail in Augusta.

5:53 p.m., a report suspicious activity was investigated on New Portland Road.

IN BINGHAM, Saturday at 8:59 a.m., a threatening complaint was investigated on Main Street.

1:02 p.m., a report of suspicious activity was investigated on Main Street.

IN DETROIT, Saturday at 9:48 a structure fire was reported on Main Street.

IN EMBDEN, Saturday at 10:30 a.m., a report of a burglar alarm was investigated on Maple Lane.

IN MADISON, Saturday at 12:43 p.m., a report of a theft was investigated on Shusta Road.

3:20 p.m., a threatening complaint was investigated on Abnaki Road.

IN NORRIDGEWOCK, Saturday at 10;42 p.m., a complaint was investigated by state and county police on Waterville Road.

IN PALMYRA, Saturday at 10:29 p.m., a complaint was taken from Ox Bow Road.

IN PITTSFIELD, Saturday at 12:23 a.m., a report of a disturbance was investigated on Higgins Road.

IN SKOWHEGAN, Saturday at 1:07 a.m., a complaint was investigated on Fairview Avenue.

11:38 a.m., a report of a sounding burglar alarm was investigated on Court Street.

1:32 p.m., a theft report was investigated on Dore Street.

5:03 p.m., a theft was reported on Main Street.

9:50 a.m., vandalism was reported on Madison Avenue.

Sunday at 8:57 a.m., an auto theft was reported on Mitchell Street.

IN WATERVILLE, Saturday at 11:49 a.m., a harassment complaint was taken from Winter Street.

12:24 p.m., a summons was issued for theft by receiving stolen property on Temple Street.

12:33 p.m., an intoxicated person was reported at a dental office on the Concourse.

2:36 p.m., a report of a theft was investigated at Big Apple on Main Street.

2:57 p.m., suspicious activity was reported at Applebee’s restaurant on Kennedy Memorial Drive.

5:49 p.m., fire units cleaned up hazardous material on Western Avenue at Russell Street.

6:45 p.m., juvenile offenses were reported on Ann Street.

8:13 p.m., emergency units responded to a report of a personal injury accident on Interstate 95.

8:15 p.m., police were called to assist another agency on Abbott Street.

8:53 p.m., a report of a dispute was investigated on Summer Street.

9:28 p.m., police were sent to a call on Oak Street.

11:17 p.m., a report of threatening was taken from Summer Street.

Sunday at 12:20 a.m., an intoxicated person was reportedly taken to the hospital from Miller Library at Colby College.

1:03 a.m., police made an arrest following a fight call on the Concourse.

2:11 a.m., a report of an assault was investigated at MaineGeneral Medical Center, Thayer Unit.

9:45 a.m., a burglary of a motor vehicle was reported on Ann Street.

10:46 a.m., a suspicious vehicle was reported on Green Street.

11:21 a.m., a domestic dispute was reported on Elm Terrace.

12:19 p.m., juvenile offenses were reported on Union Street.

Arrests

IN SOMERSET COUNTY, Thursday at 2:40 p.m., Leo Raymond Coutu, 26, of Waterville, was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault and a violation of probation.

4:10 p.m., Darryl Alan Roberts, 45, of Warren, was arrested on a writ.

IN FAIRFIELD, Friday at 9:23 p.m., Donnel Angel Bou, 20, of Fairfield, was arrested on a  probation revocation.

IN MADISON, Thursday at 5:19 p.m., Heath Wentworth, 21, of Fairfield Center, was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked license.

Saturday at 1:33 a.m., Brandy Lynn O’Donald, 29, of Skowhegan, was arrested on two charges of possession of a scheduled drug.

Friday at 8:02 p.m., Anthony Joseph Kilmer, 30, of Madison, was arrested on a probation revocation.

IN NEW PORTLAND, Ryan Heath Nile, 23, of Embden, was arrested on charges of operating after habitual offender revocation and night hunting.

IN NORTH ANSON, Friday at 4:49 p.m., Eric Joseph Hoskins, 36, of Norridgewock, was arrested on a charge of operating after suspension.

IN SKOWHEGAN, Friday at 11:47 a.m., Gary Eugene Lisherness, 51, of Madison, was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence.

Saturday at 1:13 a.m., Zachary Augustus Benner, 31, of Skowhegan, was arrested on a charge of violating condition of release.

5:41 p.m., Samantha Rose Michaud, 21, of Madison, arrested on a probation hold.

IN WATERVILLE, Saturday at 1:31 a.m., Glenn A. Glidden, 50, of Waterville and Heidi Anne Everson, 38, of the same Waterville address, were arrested on charges of disorderly conduct.

9:55 a.m., Joshua Patterson, 34, of Waterville, arrested on College Avenue on a warrant.

8:24 p.m., Nathan Conley, 26, of Waterville, arrested on Grove Street on a warrant.

11:35 p.m., Jason Bouchard, 34, of Waterville, arrested at the Bob-In on a warrant.

Sunday at 1:15 a.m., Christian Roney, 35, of Burnham, arrested on Main Street on a probation hold.
