The owners of Maine Wood Concepts in New Vineyard would like to express our appreciation to everyone in New Vineyard and surrounding communities who have expressed concerns and made offers of help. We also appreciate those who actually have assisted us in the recovery efforts after the fire at our sawmill on Nov. 14.

Our special thanks go out to the firefighters from the nine departments that report, as well as the other emergency responders who assisted.

Buildings, equipment and jobs were saved because of these well-trained and dedicated professionals.

Last, but not least, we offer praise to our heavenly father for keeping everyone safe throughout the course of a difficult day. To him be the glory.
