Police seek man in string of burglaries

Police are searching for a Benton man in connection with a string of burglaries.

The man, Kory McPhail, 21, failed to surrender to police as he agreed, said Capt. Daniel Davies of the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Department.

Kennebec County Sheriff Detective David Bucknam has requested two separate arrest warrants charging McPhail with an unspecified number of burglaries, Davies said.

Davies asked anyone with information on McPhail’s whereabouts to call the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Department at 623-3614 or the Central Maine Regional Communications Center at 624-7076.

IN ANSON, Wednesday at 1 p.m., a harassment complaint was investigated on North Main Street.
