ROLL OVER: Police and firefighters extricate a woman who was trapped in a car that rolled over this morning on the Hallowell Litchfield Road in West Gardiner. The vehicle left the road and snapped a utility pole around 8:30 a.m., according to Kennebec County Sheriff’s Deputy Aaron Moody, pinning the driver for over half an hour. Several accidents were reported across Kennebec County, police said, as drivers encountered icy road conditions during the morning commute. The driver was flown to a trauma center for evaluation, Moody said.
