WATERVILLE — Inland Hospital will partner with United Way of Mid-Maine to collect non-perishable food items for local food pantries Monday and Tuesday.
To meet special dietary needs of local residents, the hospital asks for healthy choice donations in particular. Low-sodium, low-fat, whole wheat or whole grain items, canned vegetables, and fruit canned in fruit juice are suggested.
Non-perishable food items can be dropped off at Inland Hospital’s cafeteria, the volunteer front desk at 200 Kennedy Memorial Drive or Lakewood, Inland’s Continuing Care Facility.
