LEWISTON — A funeral is planned for a Maine woman whose body was found in a storage unit rented by her former boyfriend nearly 20 years ago.
The remains of Kitty Wardell were found in October inside a freezer in the Lewiston storage unit.
The unit was rented by Wardwell’s former boyfriend Frank Julian, who died Oct. 1 at age 80. Wardwell had been missing for 28 years.
WMTW reports that a funeral service is planned for Wardell on Friday.
