WILTON – Police have asked for the public’s help in catching a Livermore Falls man in connection with an armed robbery Friday night in Wilton.

Police Chief Heidi Wilcox said Tuesday that an arrest warrant has been issued for Robert Judd, 32, as a suspect in the Curve Street robbery. He faces a felony robbery charge and is known to frequent the Rumford and Lewiston communities, Wilcox wrote in a statement.

Wilcox said that anyone with information about Judd, who is also known as Bobby, should contact the police by calling 645-3876.

Police have already located a Jay man suspected of being involved in the robbery, Wilcox said. Investigators made contact with Zachary Givens, 20, after police made a public plea for help finding Givens shortly after a Curve Street man reported being robbed at gunpoint Friday about 6:30 p.m.

Wilcox would not release details about what role Givens played in the robbery or whether he would face criminal charges. She was not available Tuesday morning for comment.

A 27-year-old man who lives on Curve Street told police two men robbed him of cash after they jumped out of a late model white Subaru. He said one of the men pointed a handgun at him before striking him on the head with it. The man refused medical treatment from an ambulance crew that responded to the emergency 911 call, Wilcox said.

The man said the pair fled in the Subaru, which was being driven by a woman, and police have since located the vehicle, Wilcox said.
