AUGUSTA – A number of people were sentenced Tuesday in separate hearings held in Kennebec County Superior Court:

Corey A. Cookson, 30, of Bristol, operating under the influence Oct. 9 in Clinton; three-year jail sentence, with all but 30 days suspended, two years probation, $1,100 fine, six-year license and registration suspension.

Jody A. Davis, 37, of Skowhegan, unlawful possession of oxycodone April 28 in Waterville; three-year jail sentence, with all but 90 days suspended, two years probation, $400 fine.

Vernon H. Gardiner, 31, of Readfield, cultivating marijuana June 29 in Readfield; $2,000 fine.

Michael Gove II, 30, of Winthrop, reckless conduct July 17, 2010, in Manchester; 364-day jail sentence, with all but seven days suspended, one year administrative release.

Gary W. Hall Jr., 26, of Augusta, operating after habitual offender revocation Sept. 7 in Augusta; 90-day jail sentence, $2,000 fine.

Leslie J. Hamlin, 34, of Winslow, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer Aug. 25 in Winslow; 180-day jail sentence, with all but 14 days suspended, one year administrative release.

Brian Allan Morin, 28, of Augusta, failure to comply with sex offender registry, third offense, July 14 in Augusta; 15-month jail sentence.

Donald E. Sargent, 63, of Waterville, two counts of misuse of identification and four counts of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer between March 25, 2008, and March 9, 2008, in Waterville; 364-day jail sentence, all suspended, one year administrative relief.
