FARMINGTON — The University Store at University of Maine at Farmington and the Franklin County Children’s Task Force are partnering to help those in need with the annual Holiday Giving Tree. Located in the University Store, donations will be accept through Wednesday.
New, unwrapped toys or warm clothing, sizes infant to adult, will be accepted or a tag can be taken from the tree to fulfill specific requests.
Items will be distributed to local families throughout Franklin County by the task force.
The store is located in the lower level of the UMF Olsen Student Center and is open 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday.
