WILTON — The Wilton CareerCenter recently announced the following workshops will be offered by Western Maine Community Action and Bureau Employment Services beginning in January at the CareerCenter:
* Aging Worker Initiative Orientation for those 55 and older will take place from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9. The topics will be employment and training opportunities in health care, green energy and technology. For reserve a spot call Susan Brazil at 753-9035.
* Gateways to Employment workshop will be 9 a.m.-noon Monday, Jan. 9, and Wednesday, Jan. 25. The latest job search techniques will be discussed. To register, call 800-982-4311 or 645-5800.
* MEOC-101 Essentials of College Planning will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, to discuss how to fill out financial aid forms. To register, call 800-281-3703.
* Resume and Interviewing Skills will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23.
Registration is required for all workshops, and there is no charge for participants.
