WATERVILLE — Jake Hickey of Waterville recently auditioned and was selected to participate in the All State Orchestra. He was ranked one of the top three trombone players in the state.
Hickey was also selected to participate in the All State Jazz Band and the first chair trombone in the Kennebec Valley Honors Band. This year he has taken two music ensemble classes at Colby College with Eric Thomas.
Hickey is a senior at Waterville Senior High School and is the son of Colin and Jennifer Hickey of Waterville.
