When I first heard about the natural gas line that may be installed through Farmingdale, I thought it was good to give people another source of heat.

Then I got a letter showing the main route of the gas line; it goes right by our home on Northern Avenue.

That didn’t bother me, but what I didn’t like was the feeder line down to Maine Avenue. It will run north on Maine Avenue to be used by more homes.

This is the road that’s been under construction for 10 months with one-way traffic.

On Dec. 7, I got a letter in the mail complaining about the line. The Kennebec Valley Gas Co. is owned by non-American company, as is Central Maine Power Co. CMP introduced smart meters with their radiation, and laid off meter readers.

I’m against  the natural gas line.
