WALDOBORO — Isaac Greenrose had 22 points as the Medomak Valley boys basketball team handed Gardiner its first loss 64-53 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game Friday.

Aaron Toman had 21 points and 11 rebounds for Gardiner (2-1). Jake Palmer added 13 points and five rebounds, while Justin Lovely had five assists and four points.

John Murray added 18 points, while Alex Greenrose had 10 for Medomak Valley (2-1).

Hall-Dale 70, Mt. Abram 56: Brad Shepherd scored 15 points and Hall-Dale made 11 3-pointers to cruise to the Western C victory.

Mike Woods scored 14 points while Sam Shepherd and Tyler French each added 11 for the Bulldogs (3-0), who led just 26-24 at the half before pulling away in the third quarter.

Ian James scored 17 points to lead Mt. Abram (0-2).

Maranacook 58, Morse 35: The Black Bears outscored the Shipbuilders 20-5 in the second quarter en route to the KVAC B win.

Kyle Boucher scored eight of his game-high 12 points in the quarter while Seth Miller added five of his 10 points for Maranacook (1-2). Taylor Wilbur also scored 10 points for Maranacook.

Matt Munster had 11 points for Morse (0-2).

Kents Hill 67, Dexter (Mass.) 54: Eli Roberts poured in 24 points to lead Kents Hill, which took a 31-16 lead at halftime and coasted to a win in the consolation game of the Holiday Hoops Tournament at Beaver Country Day School in Brookline, Mass.

O’Shea Bell and Cam Dow each added 15 points for Kents Hill (2-2).

Dexter fell to 3-2.

Leavitt 90, Oak Hill 38: Jordan Hersom scored a game-high 25 points to lead the Hornets to the KVAC B win in Wales. Andrew Middleton added 18 points for Leavitt (3-0).

Derek Gamage led the Raiders (0-3) with 10 points while Parker Asselin scored nine.

Erskine 56, Mt. Ararat 45: Tom Grady led all scorers with 17 points to pace Erskine (2-1) to the KVAC A win.

Devin Duncan scored 13 points for Erskine.

Mt. Ararat (0-3) was led by Dylan Cole and Brett Martin with 10 points apiece.

Mountain Valley 51, Monmouth 16: Jacob Theriault had 23 points as the Falcons won the Mountain Valley Conference game in Monmouth.

Zac Radcliffe added 12 points for Mountain Valley (2-1).

Drew McFarren had six points for Monmouth (2-1).

Spruce Mountain 74, Winthrop 40: Zach Bonnevie scored 19 points and Jacob Bessey added 13 to lead host Spruce Mountain.

Taylor Morang scored a team-high 15 points and Hunter Kilgore added 10 to lead the Ramblers (0-3). Tyler Foster contributed with nine points.

The Phoenix improved to 3-0.
