AUGUSTA — Red Carpet to 2012, a fundraising event to benefit the Kennebec River Rail Trail, will begin at 8 p.m. Dec. 31 at Governor Hill Mansion.
Dancing will continute until 1 a.m. with entertainment provided by The Boneheads. There will be a silent auction from 8 to 10 p.m.
Appetizers and a dessert bar will be provided and a cash bar will be available.
Tickets cost $30 per person and are available at Dancewear House in Hallowell.
