RANGELEY — Joanne Dunlap of Rangeley Plantation invites the public to her candidate announcement reception from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 1, at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 2614 Main St.
Dunlap will announce her running for the Maine Senate District 18 seat in the November 2012 election. Senate District 18 encompasses Franklin County except Jay; Kennebec County towns of Belgrade, Mt. Vernon, Fayette, Vienna, Wayne and Readfield; and Somerset County towns of Mercer and Smithfield.
Dunlap’s nomination papers will be available for signing at the event and donations of $5 will be appreciated to help her qualify as a Maine Clean Election candidate.
