DURHAM, N.H. — Gerald McLemore scored a game-high 25 points to lead the University of Maine men’s basketball team to an 80-69 win over the University of New Hampshire in America East play Wednesday.

Alasdair Fraser added 22 points and 10 rebounds for Maine, which improved to 8-10 overall, 2-5 in America East. Justin Edwards chipped in 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Black Bears.

Chandler Rhoads had 17 points, Patrick Konan 16 and Brian Benson 15 for New Hampshire (7-11, 2-5 in the conference).

Women’s basketball

New Hampshire 66, Maine 50: The Wildcats scored 30 points on turnovers on their way to an America East win in Orono.

Brittany Williams scored 14 points, while Samantha Baranowski had 12 and Ashleigh Roberts 11 points and 10 rebounds for Maine (5-16, 2-6 in the conference).

Waterville Senior High School graduate Morgan Frame had seven points, eight rebounds and four assists for UNH (11-9, 4-4 in the conference).

Colby 56, Regis 52: Rachael Mack had 16 points, six rebounds and five assists as the Mules won a non-conference game Tuesday in Waterville.

Mack was 7 for 10 from the floor and also had two blocked shots for Colby (13-3). Diana Manduca added 11 points, four assists and four steals, while Jil Vaughan had nine points, five rebounds and three blocked shots.

Claire Ramonas had 21 points for Regis (12-4).
