I urge voters in Lincoln County and towns of Washington and Waldoboro to elect Chris Johnson as their state senator in a special election on Tuesday.
As a member of the RSU 12 School Board, Chris is an articulate voice of reason in the development of this district, and has been effective in helping create a cooperative spirit and workable solutions to difficult financial problems.
An innovator in information technology, he is an excellent choice to work on taxation and education system problems.
Chris will fight for tax policies that protect the middle class and access to the polls by every eligible citizen. He will work to protect senior citizens and needy families from penny-wise and dollar-foolish cuts. As a moderator of town meetings, he has shown his fairness and ability to work with others.
Let’s send Chris to Augusta as senator from District 20.
