The Kennebec Valley Garden Club is accepting applications for its Barrows Fund Scholarship from students or teachers who are entering or enrolled in a horticulture or environmental program.
The scholarship, ranging from $500 to $1000, is awarded based on scholastic ability, financial need, civic contributions and acceptance to an accredited school.
Applicants must reside in Kennebec County. Applications are available at school guidance offices, student financial aid offices or at www.mainegardenclubs.org.
