BANGOR — Jenna Moore had 17 points as the Gardiner girls basketball team earned a 63-38 win over Mt. Desert Island in an Eastern Maine Class B quarterfinal game at the Bangor Auditorium.

Paige Pilsbury added 10 points for No. 4 Gardiner, which improves to 17-3 and advances to play No. 1 Presque Isle in a regional semifinal Wednesday.

Hannah Shaw scored 18 points for No. 5 MDI, which ends the season at 15-5.
