WINSLOW — Trey Michonski scored in overtime as the Skowhegan Area High School boys hockey team beat Lawrence 5-4 Saturday at Sukee Arena.

Skowhegan (7-8-2) scored twice in the third period to tie the game. Jake Johnson scored his second goal of the game 2 minutes, 57 seconds into the period. Lawrence’s Andrew Carpenter answered to make it 4-3 Bulldogs (2-15-0), but Kyle Demchak scored from Anthony Paul to send it into overtime.

Chase Nelson also scored for Skowhegan.

Adam Littlefield and Andrew Carpenter scored in the first period, while Christian Carpenter added a goal in the second period for Lawrence.

Sam Edmondson had 20 saves for Skowhegan and Brad Mackenzie had 36 for Lawrence.

Cony 1, Brunswick 0: Austin Davis scored late in the third period as the Rams beat the Dragons in Kents Hill.

Dakota Bowie had an assist on the goal for the Rams, who improve to 13-4-0. Matt Swan earned the win with 28 saves. Blake Alexander had 30 saves for Brunswick.
