BIDDEFORD — Timothy Newell of Augusta was named to the fall 2011 semester dean’s list at the University of New England.

Newell is studying math and sciences and is planning to pursue a career in the medical field.

A 2010 graduate of Cony High School, he is the son of Lisa Newell of Augusta and Winfield Newell of Winter Park, Fla.

Mitchell receives president’s honors

WATERVILLE — Nathan Mitchell of Gardiner was named to the fall 2011 semester president’s list for highest honors at Thomas College.

He is the son of Mark and Lisa Mitchell.

Valle named to Utica’s dean’s list

UTICA, N.Y. — Ryan D. Valle of Winthrop, Maine, a criminal justice major at Utica College, was named to the fall 2011 semester dea’s list.

SNHU announces dean’s list

Boccia named to fall dean’s list

NORTON, Mass. — Emily Boccia has been named to the fall semester dean’s list at Wheaton College.

A member of the class of 2013, Boccia is pursuing a double major in music and psychology. She is the daughter of Dr. George and Kathleen Boccia of Hallowell, Maine, and a graduate of Hall-Dale High School.
