BANGOR — Maine police say they’ve located a couple they were looking for in connection with the disappearance of a Florida firefighter whose rental car was found abandoned in a Walmart parking lot in Bangor.
Bangor police said today they had interviewed 24-year-old Daniel Porter and 25-year-old Cheyanne Nowak regarding the disappearance of 31-year-old Jerry Perdomo of Orange City, Fla., who had driven from Florida to Bangor to visit a friend. He was last seen Feb. 16 and his car was found the following day.
Bangor police on Thursday said they believed Porter and Nowak may have had contact with Perdomo shortly before his disappearance.
Deputy Chief Peter Arno released a statement today saying the couple had been located and the investigation was continuing. No additional information was released.
