MACHIAS — The University of Maine at Machias has announced the local students named to its fall 2011 semester dean’s list.

They are Justin Belka and Sherry Belka, both of Augusta; Tracy Jackson of Farmingdale; Sarah Kilgore of Mount Vernon; Stacy Gunning of South China; and Emily Blanchard of Winthrop.

Pelletier named to dean’s list

ITHACA, N.Y. — Aimee Pelletier, daughter of William and Theresa Pelletier of Farmingdale, Maine, a freshman clinical health studies major at Ithaca College’s School of Health Sciences and Human Performance, was named to the fall 2011 semester dean’s list.

Bryant University lists dean’s students

SMITHFIELD, R.I. — Jamie Pepin of Augusta, Maine, a sophomore accounting major, and Courtney Gee of South China, a sophomore international business in computer information systems, have been named to the fall semester dean’s list at Bryant University.

Bell named to UNE dean’s list

PORTLAND — Brooke A. Bell of Windsor, a member of the class of 2013, was named to the fall 2011 semester dean’s list at the University of New England.

Bell is a neuroscience major.

Local students receive dean’s honors

TROY, N.Y. — Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute has announced the students named to the fall 2011 semester dean’s list.

Local Maine students are Linnea Tilberg of Bowdoinham, a junior biomedical engineering major; Keely Colby of Alna, a junior electronic media, arts and communications major; Bryan Boyce of Sidney, a junior aeronautical engineering major; Claire Marvinney of Readfield, a senior physics major; Christina Porter of South China, a fifth-year architecture major; Erika Hawksley of Windsor, a senior civil engineering major.

Clark University lists dean’s students

WORCESTER, Mass. — Clark University has announced its dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester.

Local Maine students are Daniel J. Paradee of Gardiner; Jonathan M. Koenig of Hallowell; William S. Colan of Readfield; and Kelcey D. Ladner of Richmond, all second honors; and Benjamin H. Goldman of Dresden; Timothy F. Day of Hallowell; and Amanda E. Brackett of Vassalboro, all first honors.

Miles named to dean’s list

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Kelly A. Miles has been named to the fall 2011 semester dean’s list at Sacred Heart University.

Miles, a 2010 graduate of Winthrop High School, is a psychology major and a member of the Theta Phi Alpha sorority. She is the daughter of Debbie and Ed Miles of Winthrop.

Bryant University list dean’s students

SMITHFIELD, R.I. — Three local students were named to the fall 2011 semester dean’s list at Bryant University.

They are Courtney Gee of South China, Maine, a sophomore international business in computer information systems major; Jennifer Horowitz of Pittsfield, Maine, a senior accounting major; and Jamie Pepin of Augusta, Maine, a sophomore accounting major.

McCullum named to dean’s list

LEXINGTON, Va. — James McCullum of Hallowell, Maine, a member of the class of 2015 at Washington and Lee University, received honor roll status for the fall 2011 term.

EAST GREENWICH, R.I. — Krista Poulin of Readfield, Maine, has been named to the fall 2011 quarter dean’s list at the New England Institute of Technology.

Evans named honor scholar

ELMIRA, N.Y. — Delaney Evans of Wayne, Maine, class of 12 at Elmira College, has been named a Cowles Honor Scholar.

Evans is majoring in psychology and criminal justice. She is the daughter of Tanya Evans and Randy Evans.

Augusta student receives degree

CASTINE — Sean Fournier of Augusta recently received an associate’s degree in international business and logistics from Maine Maritime Academy.

Fournier is a graduate of Gardiner Area High School, Gardiner.

Mount Vernon student receives degree

CASTINE — Abby Hall of Mount Vernon recently received a bachelor’s degree in international business and logistics from Maine Maritime Academy.

Hall is a graduate of Maranacook Community School, Readfield.

Palermo student receives degree

CASTINE — Wade Spaulding of Palermo recently received a bachelor’s degree in international business and logistics from Maine Maritime Academy.

Spaulding is a graduate of Mount View High School, Thorndike.

Randolph student receives degree

CASTINE — Randolph Johnson of Randolph recently received an associate’s degree in international business and logistics from Maine Maritime Academy.

Johnson is a graduate of Wiscasset High School, Wiscasset.
