BOSTON — Ashley R. Caron was recently named to the dean’s list at the College of Science at Northeastern University, based on outstanding academic performance during the 2011 fall semester.
She is the daughter of Keith K. and Carla P. Caron of Oakland and is a 2008 graduate of Messalonskee High School. Caron is majoring in psychology.
As part of Northeastern University’s curriculum requirement, she recently completed a six-month position as a Research Assistant/Co-op at Massachusetts General Hospital in the Bressler Clinical and Research Program for Autism Spectrum Disorders. She worked very closely with the physicians and patients assisting with research and office management. For her efforts, she was recently awarded the Partners in Excellence Award from the hospital.
Caron is active in the Student Government Association as director of Off-Campus Initiatives, previously served as president with the on-campus a cappella group Distilled Harmony and dances with the No Limits Dance Crew.
