WALDO — The University of Maine Cooperative Extension will offer a five-session Beginning Farmer Series on Thursdays beginning March 13, from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

UMaine Extension educators Rick Kersbergen and Caragh Fitzgerald will collaborate with farmers to present this series, which will provide information to novice farmers including tools to evaluate and choose enterprises, developing a business plan, and marketing products.

The cost is $60 per farm and includes course books and other program materials. Registration ends March 7.
