AUGUSTA — NAMI Capital Area Family Support and the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Maine will sponsor a free Family-to-Family Education Program for families of people diagnosed with mental illness.

The course will include information about schizophrenia, mood disorders, panic disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder and other major mental illnesses, and cover coping skills, medications, listening and communication techniques, recovery and rehabilitation and more.

The 12-week series will begin on March 20, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Registration is required.
