PITTSFIELD — Pittsfield Public Library visitors recently paid tribute to Dr. Seuss on his birthday. Participants celebrated with art and stories, and sang “Happy Birthday” before enjoying a “Red Fish Blue Fish”-themed birthday cake donated by Bud’s Shop ‘n’ Save for the occasion.
Children ages 4-10 are invited to visit the library from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday to enter a St. Patrick’s Day coloring contest. All participants will receive gold from the leprechaun’s pot, and winners from each age group will receive a special gift.
