Am I the only one shocked about the recent contraception debate and the religious hijacking of insurance coverage? I can’t believe that it’s 2012 and it’s actually an issue to provide the pill under insurance plans.

It must actually be 1612, and the religious right also is trying to prevent women from other sexually deviant behavior, such as voting and wearing pants.

Just when we thought Christian extremists couldn’t get any crazier, they oppose something that 98 percent of us believe in anyway.

While everyone knows the best person to decide a woman’s reproductive rights is an old fundamentalist religious white male (sarcasm), maybe they can spend their energy praying for a time machine to get them to a point in time when their lunacy is merely laughed at, not voted into law by people crazier than than they are.
