Don’t drill, baby drill!

I’m not going to argue. So what if gas or diesel hits $10 per gallon. I don’t care if the cost of a box of cereal gets up to 10 bucks. I don’t need to eat cereal.

So what if a gallon on milk eventually costs 15 bucks. I have a good well, so water will do me fine. As far as fruit and vegetables, I grow my own.

The state can raise the “sin taxes” all it wants. I grow my own tobacco and make my own hooch.

My wife and I both grew up on dairy farms. We were taught to make do and how to take care of ourselves. Can you? Those who don’t understand this, should watch Hank William Jr.’s music video, “Country Boy Can Survive.”
