Girl Scouts of Maine will conduct the public booth sale phase of the Girl Scout Cookie activity at various venues statewide through Sunday, April 1.

Booth sales provide the public with a final opportunity to purchase the cookies until next year. Through Operation Cookie Drop 2012, the public may also buy cookies and donate them to the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces. This year’s donated cookies will be distributed to veterans through the Maine VA Health Care System.

More than 300 booth sales have been scheduled by Girl Scout troops statewide including at in Waterville at Kmart, Marden’s, Mr. Paperback, Colby College (Pugh Center), Shaw’s and Family Dollar. A list of sale dates and times, as well as all booth sale locations for central Maine is available online at girlscoutsofmaine.org, or email info@gsmaine.org.

The cookies cost $3.50 a box. Flavors include Caramel deLites, Peanut Butter Patties, Shortbread, Thanks-A-Lot, Peanut Butter Sandwich, Lemonades, Shout Outs!, and the best-seller, Thin Mints.
