AUGUSTA — The Maine Arts Commission’s Art in the Capitol has announced that an exhibit of 19 paintings by Alden Grant are on display in the State of Maine Capitol Complex.

The artwork depicts life in Maine’s northern woods and is on loan from the Rangeley Lakes Region Logging Museum.

The exhibit will be on display until the end of March. Hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday at the Maine State House and 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the Blaine House. Visitors to the Blaine House are encouraged to call ahead.
