Our family was privileged to attend Waterville Strings biggest, shortest, concert, held on March 20 at the Trask Auditorium in Waterville.

The program consisted of 11 renditions of musical pieces played by musical students ranging from Grades 4 and 5 of Albert S. Hall School Strings, Grades 6, 7 and 8 of Waterville Junior High Strings, and seniors from Waterville Senior High.

The strings included violins, viola, cellos and bass fiddles. Concertmaster and conductor Dan Keller was responsible for the training of these musicians. His dedication and obvious love of music was evident by the performance we witnessed. The young musicians received a standing ovation at the concert’s conclusion.

Sound was great. Performance beyond expectations. Bravo!
