AUGUSTA — Crisis & Counseling Center, 10 Caldwell Road, has dedicated its new board room to Beverly Daggett, who recently stepped down from the Board of Directors after 25 years of service.

Daggett was president of the board when the center became a United Way Agency, opened its Crisis Stabilization Unit in Skowhegan and Halifax House in Winslow, and when the agency began to provide all crisis services for Kennebec County. Daggett also played a key role in helping the center relocate its main office to its present location.
