We had made a poster for missing Ayla Reynolds and tacked it to our tree at the corner of Cedar Village Drive and Oxen Drive in Oakland.

On one of my daily walks to the corner, I discovered that someone had torn it down.

How could anyone stoop so low as to tear down a sign about a missing girl, from private property no less? We are just doing our part to keep her face out there so that she not be forgotten.

Where is the mercy? Where is the honor? Where is the respect for life?

The act of tearing down the poster was disrespectful, and we ask whoever did this to stop and remember that an innocent child is missing. Everyone needs to do their part to bring her home. Please return the sign to the tree.
