THORNDIKE — Ryan St. Clair hit a game-winning two-run single with the bases loaded and one out in the bottom of the 10th inning as the Mt. View baseball team beat Maine Central Institute 14-13 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game Wednesday.

MCI had taken a one-run lead in the top of the 10th. St. Clair finished with three hits and five RBIs, while Adam Higgins had a double and two RBIs for Mt. View (1-3).

Cameron Michaud scored four runs and stole four bases to lead MCI (0-3).

Erskine 7, Brunswick 2: John Suga and Shyler Scates each had a double and a single to lead the Eagles to a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A win in South China.

Jory Humphrey pitched a complete game, allowing five hits, to earn the win for Erskine (2-2). He also had a pair of singles.

Hampden 9, Skowhegan 3: Cooper Antone had a single, a double and three RBIs as the Broncos beat the Indians in a KVAC A game in Skowhegan.

Nick Rodgerson and Dylan Carlison added two singles each for Hampden (3-0).

Lucas Wallace had two singles for Skowhegan (1-3).

Bangor 9, Lawrence 2: Sam Stanhope went 3 for 4 with three RBIs and Cody Savage drove in four runs to lead the Rams in a KVAC A game in Fairfield.

Savage went 2 for 4 to help Justin Courtney earn the victory for Bangor (4-0).
Isiah Fleming had two singles to lead Lawrence (0-4).

Madison 10, Winthrop 1: Dustin West went 3 for 3 and Steven Cusson pitched a complete game to lead Madison to a Mountain Valley Conference win in Winthrop.

Cody Saucier and Travis Emerson each had two hits for the Bulldogs (2-1). Cusson, Emerson and West each had a double.

Monmouth 5, Carrabec 3: Kyle Fletcher had two hits, including a double, and Alex Cuertis pitched four effective innings as the Mustangs won an MVC game in Monmouth.

The Mustangs (1-0) scored all their runs in the bottom of the first inning.

Mt. Blue 9, Brewer 6: Nick Hilton had three hits, including a double and triple, and Jordan Whitney added an RBI double to lead the Cougars to a KVAC A win in Brewer.

Andrew Pratt added an RBI single for Mt. Blue (2-1).

Cam Abbott earned the win to improve to 2-0. He struck out nine in 5 1/3 innings in relief of Bradley Jackson.

Jeremy Bissell had a three-run double for Brewer (1-2).

Waterville 11, Oak Hill 1: J.T. Whitten, Tyler Bouchard and Lance Lefebvre each had two hits to lead the Purple Panthers (4-0) in Wales.

Brian Bellows pitched a complete game for the win. He allowed just two hits — both singles by Brady Dion.

Oak Hill dropped to 0-4.

Winslow 13, Nokomis 7: Mike McLaughlin was 3 for 4 as the Black Raiders won in Newport.
