WATERVILLE — Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area will open a resale shop this month. The store will be located in the basement of the 304 Main St. building. Organizers will accept donations from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Friday.

If you would like to drop off donations over the weekend, please call HVWA to arrange a time. Volunteers are needed to help get the store up and running, if interested, call Susan Roy at 873-3615, ext. 13. The grand opening will be announced soon.

Needed donations: gently used furniture, brand name (seasonal clothing), collectibles, books, house ware (dishes, glassware, flatware), antiques, jewelry, toys in good condition and linens.

Items accepted only if new and unopened: bandages and medical supplies, bike helmets, mattresses, pillows, cosmetics, disposable diapers/pads.

Items that will not be accepted:computer CPUs, electric or kerosene heaters, flammable items, hair dryers, personal hygiene appliances, any item containing offensive and/or inappropriate slogans, window blinds.
