WINSLOW — The Winslow baseball team tied the game in the bottom of the seventh inning and again in the bottom of the eighth, then rallied with two outs and no one on base in the bottom of the ninth to earn a wild 10-9 victory over Camden Hills in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game Monday afternoon.

Winslow (6-1) scored the winning run when Gabe Smith doubled and came home on Mackenzie Michaud’s single. Smith and Michaud each had three hits, while Ryan Dubois and Trevor Lovely had two singles apiece. Donald Camp earned the win in relief.

Winslow trailed 7-0 before tying the game with seven runs in the bottom of the fifth.

For Camden (3-4), Adam Carlsen and Taylor Hall each had two hits.

Messalonskee 10, Hampden 2: Sam Dexter hit a pair of two run homers and drove in five runs to lead the Eagles to the KVAC Class A win in Oakland. Winning pitcher Devin Warren allowed one hit over six innings, struck out three and contributed a pair of singles. Josh Woodard also singled twice for Messalonskee (5-2) while Mike Ward singled and doubled for Hampden (4-3).

Madison 8, Carrabec 1: Rhett McKenney pitched a one-hitter, striking out 11 and walking five in five innings to lead the host Bulldogs to the Mountain Valley Conference win.

McKenney had a double and drove in two runs while Emerson added a two-run single. Dustin West also had two RBIs for Madison (4-3).

Brandon LeHay had two singles and an RBI for Carrabec (0-5).

Skowhegan 5, Mt. Blue 1: Cody Moody allowed four hits and struck out seven to lead the host Indians to the KVAC A win.

John Swett came on in the seventh inning with runns on first and second and two outs and got a popout for the save. Isaac Wacome had a double and a single for Skowhegan (2-4) while Trevor Hisler had two singles.

Mt. Blue (3-4) was led by Cam Abbott with two singles.

Brewer 10, Lawrence 2: John Collins and Tony Bissell each had two singles and two RBIs to lead the Witches to the KVAC A win in Fairfield.

Matt Morrow and Jeff Weeks each chipped in with two singles for Brewer (3-4).

Alex Leathers led Lawrence (0-7) with a double and a single while Nick Champney added two singles and an RBI.

Hall-Dale 8, Mt. Abram 2: Zac Plummer picked up his first varsity win while teammate Zach McNaughton supported him with four hits in MVC action in Salem. Plummer went five innings, struck out six and walked one while McNaughton belted two triples, two singles and knocked in three runs.

Hall-Dale is 4-2, Mt. Abram is 1-5.
