GARDINER — School Administrative District 11 will hold its second annual Commit 2 B Fit 5K scholarship race on May 19 at the entrance to the Rail Trail at Hannaford.
The race will take place rain or shine. Walkers are welcome. Pets are not allowed. Registration will start at 8 a.m. and the race at 9 a.m.
Advance registration costs $15 per person or $20 for two people or $20 per person and $25 per two people the day of the race. Individual students cost $5.
All proceeds benefit a scholarship fund for a Gardiner Area High School student majoring in the health and science field, as well as the school district’s wellness initiatives.
