WINTHROP — Tyler Reeve allowed six hits while striking out 14 and walking none in a complete game as Winthrop defeated Mt. Abram 10-3 in Mountain Valley Conference baseball action Friday.

Drew Stratton had three singles, two RBIs and scored twice to lead the Winthrop (5-2) offense. Tyler Foster, Ben Allen, Dakota Carter and Conner Doyle each had two singles.

Josh White singled twice for Mt. Abram (2-6) while Calum Dixon doubled.

Hall-Dale 10, Carrabec 4: Nick Sinclair had two doubles and a single to lead the Bulldogs to the MVC win in North Anson. Brad Shepherd added three singles for Hall-Dale (5-3) while Matt Plourde and Bobby Cumler each had two singles.

Brandon Lehay and John Leman had three singles apiece for Carrabec (0-7).

Madison 10, Monmouth 5: Garrett Emery had three hits, including two doubles, and drove in five runs to lead Madison to the MVC win in Monmouth.

Travis Emerson was 4 for 4 for Madison (5-4) and drove in three runs. Rhett McKenney threw a complete game for the win, allowing three hits and seven walks while striking out eight.

Kyle Fletcher had a single and scored three runs for Monmouth (1-6).

Nokomis 3, Maranacook 1: Spencer Hartsgrove had went 2 for 3 with a double and drove in a run to lead the Warriors to the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B win in Newport.

Justin Amoroso had a double and two singles for Nokomis (4-6) and scored two runs. Amoroso threw a complete game for the win, striking out three and walking five while surrendering five hits.

Nate Johnson went the distance for Maranacook (5-4), allowing eight hits.

Gardiner 6, Oceanside 1: Josh Ouellette pitched a complete-game, three-hitter to lead the Tigers to the KVAC Class B win. Ouellette struck out three and walked five. The Tigers took advantage of five Oceanside errors, three of which led to three unearned runs in the fifth inning. Brandon Chaput led Gardiner with three hits and scored three runs while Josh Mashke added a single and two RBIs.

Gardiner is 7-2, Oceanside is 3-4.

 Oak Hill 4, Medomak 1: Josh Martin struck out 13 and didn’t walk a batter to lift the Raiders to the KVAC B win, their first of the season. Martin allowed just two singles while contributing a single, double, RBI and a run scored.

Parker Asselin doubled for the Raidfers while Sam Morin singled home a run. Oak Hill is 1-8, Medomak is 4-4-1.

Boys lacrosse

Cony 4, Edward Little 3 OT: John Sabin scored with 4 seconds remaining in overtime to lift the Rams to the Class A win in Auburn.

Sabin finished with two goals for Cony (2-5) while Derek Elvin and Austin Davis had one apiece. Matt Swan made 11 saves.

Travis Landry scored twice for Edward Little (2-5) and Matt Adams had one. Matt Berube made 13 saves.
