HAMPDEN — Morgan Buker hit a grand slam as the Skowhegan Area High School softball team scored 11 times in the fifth inning on their way to a 13-0 win over Hampden Academy in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game Monday.

Amanda Johnson added a double, while both Lexia Dorr and Mikayla Toth had two singles for Skowhegan (6-4).

Kaitlyn Therriault earned the win, allowing three hits, while striking out six.

Erskine 16, Brunswick 0: Ashley Green struck out nine, walked none and gave up two hits in five innings as the Eagles rolled to a victory over the Dragons in Brunswick.

Alison Gauvin had a single and a double, while Taylor Boucher had a double and two singles for Erskine (9-2). The Eagles had a 7-0 lead before Brunswick came to bat and cruised from there.

Brunswick falls to 1-9.

Medomak Valley 5, Winslow 2: Desiree Benner struck out 15, walked two and allowed two runs on three hits as the Panthers beat the Black Raiders in a KVAC B game in Waldoboro.

Amanda Hendricson had two singles and Hannah Marks had a single and two RBIs for Medomak Valley (10-1).

Jess Ferry had two hits and drove in two runs for Winslow (7-4).

St. Dominic 14, Carrabec 2, 5 innings: Bethany Fox had a double, a triple and two RBIs as the Saints beat the Cobras in a Mountain Valley Conference game in Auburn.

Sarah Trott added two singles for St. Dom’s 3-7.

All nine starters got a hit for Carrabec (1-7).

Madison 14, Hall-Dale 7: Alex Jarvais had a three-run triple and added a single to lead Madison to the MVC win.

Emily McKenney added two singles and earned the win as Madison improved to 10-1.

Carylanne Wolfington had a home run, a double and a single for Hall-Dale (5-4).

Morse 11, Mt. View 8: Niesa Ryder had a double and a single as the Shipbuilders beat the Mustangs in a KVAC B game in Thorndike.

Lucy Rawson had three singles and Hannah Russell had two singles for Morse (2-9).

Wendy Gibbs and Fran Stevens each had two singles and two RBIs for Mt. View (0-11).

Oceanside 15, Nokomis 3: Jessie Veilleux had four hits and three RBIs, including a two-run home run as the Mariners beat the Warriors in Rockland.

Jill Bradbury added four hits and two RBIs for Oceanside (7-1). Molly Mellor and Hannah Hersom each added three hits and two RBIs.
