CAMDEN — Taylor Banister had four hits and two RBIs to lead the Gardiner softball team past Camden Hills 6-1 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game Wednesday afternoon.

Winning pitcher Kristal Smith also had a pair of hits and drove in a run as well.

Smith pitched five innings to earn the victory.

Becca Hilt had two singles to lead the Windjammers (4-7).

Oak Hill 10, MCI 5: Lauren Beganny had two doubles and a single as the Raiders beat the Huskies in a KVAC B game in Pittsfield.

Alyssa Rouleau and Alexis Priest each added two singles and a double, while Kortni Michaud had three singles for Oak Hill (7-4).

Courtney Fowler had three singles and a double, while Katelyn Sousa had a triple and a single for MCI (4-7).

Monmouth 15, Boothbay 1: The Mustangs remained unbeaten at 9-0 in Mountain Valley Conference play with the win in Boothbay.
