WISCASSET — Freshman Bobby Cumler pitched a no-hitter as the Hall-Dale High School baseball team beat Wiscasset 14-0 in five innings in a Mountain Valley Conference game Wednesday.

Cumler struck out six, walked two and hit a batter.

“His location was pretty good,” Hall-Dale coach Tim Johnson said. “He pretty much was ahead in the count the whole game and he kept them off balance with his curve ball.”

Catcher Matt Plourde led the Bulldogs with a double, three singles and five RBIs while also scoring four runs. Zac Plummer added a single, double and three RBIs.

Hall-Dale is 8-3, Wiscasset is 7-5.

Cony 6, Oxford Hills 5: Chase Shostak hit a line drive up the middle to drive in his brother Chandler in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Rams beat the Vikings in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game in Augusta.

The win was the eighth straight for Cony (8-4).

Chandler Shostak started the seventh with a single for Cony. He finished with three singles. Ryan Edwards pitched a complete game to earn the win, allowing five runs on four hits, while striking out five and walking one.

Edwards had two doubles and Tyler Carrier two singles for Cony.

Brandon Campbell and Jordan Croteau each had a double for Oxford Hills (8-4).

Camden Hills 6, Gardiner 5: Adam Carlsen singled home the winning run in the bottom of the seventh to lift the Windjammers to the KVAC B win in Rockport.

The Tigers (7-5) took a 5-4 lead in the top of the sixth on Frank Chepke’s RBI double and an error. Chepke added a single while Ian Lane and Jensen Orweiller each had a pair of hits.

Carlsen singled twice for Camden Hills (6-5).

Winthrop 6, Lisbon 2: Tyler Reeve pitched a complete game, allowing two runs on two hits as the Ramblers beat the Greyhounds in an MVC game in Lisbon.

Drew Stratton was 2 for 3 for Winthrop, which improves to 6-3.

Oak Hill 2, MCI 1: Josh Martin and Jake Martin each drove in a run for Oak Hill, and Josh Martin earned the win for the Raiders in Pittsfield.

Oak Hill (2-9) scored both runs in the first inning. Jake Bannister and Parker Asselin each had two hits for Oak Hill.

Paul Dionne doubled for MCI (0-11).

Boys lacrosse

St. Dom’s 11, Maranacook/Winthrop 4: Nick Hatfield had three goals and two assists as the Saints beat the Hawks in Augusta.

Anthony Fagone added three goals, while Troy Haefele had two goals and two assists for the Saints (9-0).

Zach Glazier and Luke Emery each had two goals for Maranacook/Winthrop (5-3).

Cony 7, Oxford Hills 5: Derek Elvin and Dakota Bowie each scored two goals to lead the Rams to the Eastern A victory. Kevin Kingsbury, John Bennett and Austin Davis also scored for Cony (3-5) while Matt Swan earned the victory with eight saves.

Elvin, Bowie and Nick Benner each added assists as well for the Rams.

Nick Record scored three goals to lead Oxford Hills (0-8).
