It’s a shame that the city of Augusta is as skewed in giving sports a priority, as is most of the country these days.
Plenty of funding can be found to update a sports venue, but none for a nature area such as Bicentennial Park.
Not everyone can participate in games, but perhaps they could enjoy time outdoors in a park.
