Gov. Paul LePage’s comparison of the Internal Revenue Service to the Gestapo is not far from the truth.

I do not qualify for MaineCare, my employer does not provide health insurance, neither of my parents currently has health insurance, and I do not care to have health insurance, so why should I be punished? I am young and healthy; the cost of my yearly physical is less than any insurance premium.

Our sheriffs are elected by the people, therefore they have the power to tell the IRS to take a hike. I think those of us who believe Obamacare is not in the best interest of our freedoms and economy should start getting to know their local sheriff real well.

We do not have enough insurance providing jobs, let alone good-paying jobs to bear this extra burden on our paychecks.

When we witness sex and violence on the television every day, why would our governor’s comments be considered so offensive? America is being neutered by political correctness; sometimes there isn’t an eloquent way to convey the truth.

In this case, I feel LePage hit the nail on the head, and I applaud him for it.
