SKOWHEGAN — The Skowhegan Rotary Club will host its 28th Lobster Bake 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, under a large tent downtown and will celebrate the club’s 90th birthday in conjunction with River Fest 2012.
Folks who choose to come for dinner could be lucky enough to have a piece of the club’s birthday cake as part of the celebration.
Cost is $13 for a single lobster dinner in advance and $15 the day of the event. Cost is $23 for a double lobster dinner in advance, or $25 the day of the event. Hamburgers and hot dogs will also be available. Proceeds will benefit the many charitable causes that the Rotary Club supports in the greater Skowhegan area.
