WATERVILLE — Angela Woodhead recently was named director of the Teen Parent School program at The Maine Children’s Home for Little Wanderers. Woodhead will be responsible for the coordination of the Teen Parent School program and the students’ involvement.

Woodhead, 44, is a Lewiston native and a 2006 graduate of the University of Southern Maine’s Lewiston-Auburn College with a bachelor’s degree in social and behavioral sciences. She is also a licensed social worker.

As director of the Teen Parent School program, she will work with teen parents at The Maine Children’s Home as well as students and staff at Waterville Alternative Education, according to a news release.

Woodhead has experience working with The Maine Children’s Home for Little Wanderers, in both the Adoption Social Worker and Birthparent Counselor positions and working with special education students at Longley Elementary School in Lewiston.
