VASSALBORO — The Vassalboro Conservation Commission will offer a canoe and kayak trip from Vassalboro to Augusta at 10 a.m. on Aug. 18.
Participants will start at the new carry in trail parking lot at the end of Seven Mile Stream on Mill Hill Road, and travel to the East Side boat landing in Augusta. The trip will take about three hours, including a stop along the way for a picnic lunch.
Transportation will be provided at the end of the trip. Rain date will be Sunday at noon. To sign up, call Paul at 923-3758.
