STONEHAM — The White Mountain National Forest is proposing timber harvest and wildlife habitat improvement projects in several Maine townships.
The public is invited to an open house to learn about the proposals in Stoneham, Lovell, Mason and Albany townships on Aug. 23 in Stoneham.
Prescribed fire and road work also are among the projects for review.
A final decision is expected in October.
